About "Reconstructed" by Charlie Anastazja:

Mellissa's online boutique offers "Reconstructed" items, by taking older still good items and giving them new life, helping to reduce waste that is left in landfills, junkyards, and more. They also offer brand new boutique clothing and accessory items. Mellissa has been crafting since she was a young child and started this business about a year ago. Mellissa has two boys and another baby on the way.

Mellissa has a special spot in her heart for little ones, especially heart babies. Her daughter had a heart defect when she was born and unfortunately did not make it after her open heart surgery. Because of this and several other heartbreaks, she cherishes everything about being a parent. Visit Reconstructed on Facebook to view other items and be sure to thank Mellissa for supporting Team Linus.

Mellissa is also the executive assistant of a new nonprofit organization that is located in College Station, TX. The organization is called Preemie Prints and it was started in January 2011 by our founder Amber Collier after a stay in the NICU with her twin girls born at 33 weeks after pre-eclampsia. Preemie Prints is a 501(c)3 non profit organization dedicated to sharing hope with families experiencing the difficulties of a premature birth through information, photography, gift bags, support, and prayer. They offer a series of services to parents of premature babies that are in the NICU as well as babies that are sick or have disabilities. One such service is a photographic session that can be done in the home or at the hospital, which ever the condition or situation dictates and which ever would make the family more comfortable. Visit http://www.preemieprints.org/ for more information.
