The Big One

Tonight is the night Rod gave me the trigger shot.

There is a small window where I was instructed to receive it and I was so scared we would miss it. I was even more scared to have Rod give me the shot. He has never given himself or anyone a shot much less know how to handle a needle.

Do you see the needle on the left? That's what is supposed to be jabbed into my hip. By ROD!

I mixed up the medicine and after praying for strength for 5 minutes, I bared my hip, put all the weight onto my left leg, and hoped for the best. Would you believe he did a fantastic job? There was no pain and as a bonus, no bleeding. I was so glad that it was only one shot and that it was over. Now we just wait for the eggs to fill our basket.
