My letter to Gerber.
Dear sizing department,
My boy is 5 months old, weighs 15 pounds and is in the 25-50% for weight and 10-25% for height. So why is it that the sleeveless onesie in size 3-6 months makes my baby look like this??
A regular Gerber 3-6 month onesie fits just fine on Dean. However, getting this tank on him is like squeezing a walrus into a pair of Spanx. His Dunlap is hanging out because the fabric will not stretch over his baby gut. My poor boy was so distraught that he was ready for a beer. Look at his hand poised for the bottle.
What happened with the sizing? Did you use a template meant for cabbage patch doll clothes? Gerber clothes tend to run small but this tank is way off. A non-preemie, normal size baby wouldn't even be able to get this over his head.
Please so something about this, otherwise the infants of today will grow up with a negative body image. My baby is spitting up his milk just so he can fit into his clothes.
Thank you for your time. Love your rompers by the way.

Your posts crack me up - you could have a stand up routine - hah!
Oh god I felt like writing a letter myself to Gerber, they freakin pissed me off when the 3-6 month clothing didnt fit my one month baby. She was barely 10 pounds then and you can guess the 0-3 clothing was wored once only.
Thao I am cracking up. You are so funny. I swear I subscribed to your feed but I don't get it... I am going to try again because I feel like I missed out on so much and Dean is so big now!!
This picture makes me just giggle uncontrollably!!!
LOL We had the same sorts of problem with our daughter growing up...it seems baby clothes just aren't made to accommodate her chubs, let alone a cloth diaper.
